MCLV worked in collaboration with GastingerWalker& Architects to develop a master plan for the Cornerstones of Care Ozanam Campus (COC) in Kansas City. COC is a non-profit organization that focuses on youth and family support, foster care, adoption, and education. The master plan is founded on the principle that exceptional care deserves exceptional facilities and strives to create a healthy and safe environment for youth, their families, and staff.

The plan reinvigorates the Ozanam Campus, selectively removes aging facilities, separates vehicular and pedestrian traffic in a bold new organization, and creates an identity that evokes the site’s agricultural heritage. 85,000 square feet of new construction is carefully sited within natural drainage patterns of the Blue River Valley, clusters complimentary building uses around new green spaces and ensures flexibility for future expansion.
