BOSTON 2024 OLYMPIC BID
The Boston 2024 Olympic Bid was an ambitious plan to host the world for two weeks and leverage the games to reinvest in infrastructure and public amenities. Each venue was planned as a constellation of sites within the larger Boston region. Equally important to the feasibility of the site to accommodate the games was the post-Olympic legacy and how it impacted residents and users for future generations. Each site was researched to understand the historical and cultural value, as well as current needs that the post-Olympic legacy could help to improve. The resulting site plans are contextually sensitive, but boldly transformative to ensure a lasting positive impact.
