FORD CAMPUS MASTER PLAN

The Research and Engineering Campus of Ford Motor Company is reimagined for the future of workplace, ecological restoration, and mobility. The plan concentrates 20,000 employees in a dense, interconnected environment to promote collaboration in a dynamic workplace experience. What is now primarily a campus of aging buildings surrounded by parking is transformed into a restored natural setting, establishing habitat for native flora and fauna and connecting people to the outdoors. A primary mobility loop links cross-campus destinations and parking areas with multiple modes of transit. The master plan empowers Ford and its employees as the campus transforms through several future phases of development.
